The Queen City Comedy Experience is, since 2017, Charlotte's premier celebration of all-things comedy! There's so much to see - from stand-up comedians to sketch comedy, to podcasts and the best improv teams from around the globe. In 2024, we'll be showcasing great TALENT, celebrating QUALITY work, building on our great COMMUNITY of performers, and making AWESOME comedy for everyone!​ Produced by Queen City Comedy in partnership with The Comedy Zone and Blumenthal Arts, this one-of-a-kind event will highlight local and national acts from a wide variety of comedy genres.

The 2023 festival returned to Uptown September 6-10 and featured legendary stand up comedian Chris Tucker, Shawn Wayans, Hyprov: Improv Under Hypnosis with Colin Mochrie & Asad Mecci, Capitol Fools, Small Town Murder and Therapy Gecko.

2022 Queen City Comedy Experience

In August 2022, The Queen City Comedy Experience returned! We had fun with Weird Al, Second City, Comedy Bang Bang, Comedy Dance Chicago, and even Conan O’Brien! This year, the QCCE was both live in person as well as online including some of our global improvisers from around the world.
